Get the "forbidden issue" of JSH® Magazine. Founded in 1876 and relaunched in June 2019, this Journal Suisse d'Horlogerie has been prohibited from being distributed by the Swiss Federal Government. Not because of its content, but because of the danger of spreading a non-watchmaking pandemic. As far as the watchmaking virus is concerned, it is doing well. To read, to order. abo@jsh.swiss

Back since 2020
Since its birth in July 2006, the ProWatCH non-profit association has transformed one of the first watchmaking blogs into an independent media reference for specialized journalists and industry players: short, dense texts, resolutely devoid of images. Opinions, pure information, neither complacency nor empty words. Hacked several times before watch shows, its 1741 articles remain true and sometimes disturbing testimonies of recent watchmaking history.

Some associations initiated by ProWatCH
Henri Grandjean 1803 Values & Heritage
Association for the promotion of the heritage and values of the great watchmaker and chronometer-maker Henri Grandjean, born in 1803.
He had the Neuchâtel Observatory established, not even a plaque mentions it. He had the Observatory and the Watchmaking School of Le Locle linked by telecable, installing the master precision in Le Locle. As a local and federal politician, he built the An-Neuf district (now called Le Progrès), to which Le Locle owes its admission to Unesco. His production is estimated at about 150 pieces.
